Its strategic location makes it the perfect destination for a quiet and comfortable stay, and the ample free parking on the property allows you to forget about getting around by car. In fact, the estate is located 250 meters from the sandy beaches of the Otranto promenade, with two private beach facilities, Lido Camillo and Lido Miramare, and a stretch of public beach where you can rent umbrellas and sunbeds. It is 650 meters from the historic center with its restaurants and cultural attractions: all easily reachable on foot in a few minutes' walk. There is also a takeaway nearby with traditional takeout dishes, so you can have lunch or dinner comfortably under the pergola at the house. There is a well-stocked supermarket in front of the estate. At 750 meters, you will find three other private beach facilities: Lido Atlantis, Fuori Rotta, and La Castellana. Olive and pine trees protect the residences as if in an embrace, while laurel and oleander hedges surround the private gardens of each apartment, protecting their privacy. Good taste and style find their best expression inside the residences: each house has been furnished as if it were inhabited by the owners; the furniture, some of which is original 19th-century Salento furniture that belonged to the great-great-grandparents, such as tables, sideboards, and chairs, while other pieces are all of Moroccan artisan origin, including the wrought-iron beds, the wardrobes, the chests of drawers, the sideboards, and the lanterns that serve as lamps and abat-jour. Each house has been furnished and cared for in every detail by us, as if we were going to live there. There are various types of apartments. From 80 to 120 square meters, plus outdoor spaces. The ground floors have a larger garden than the balconies on the first floor, all overlooking the greenery of the estate. They are not the classic two- or three-room apartments of a residence, but all have a kitchen, are large and spacious, and are surrounded by a two-hectare park with free indoor parking. Each residence has been designed to be functional and comfortable, and is characterized by a preference for discretion rather than formal commitment. The renovation carefully preserved the appearance of country houses, where you can breathe the authenticity of handcrafted things and the freshness of seaside homes. Even the materials have been adapted to a discreet elegance, which must have the naturalness of the lived-in. If Old Salento dominates inside the houses, outside Puglia takes over with its olive trees, cypresses, laurels, lemons, and cascades of bougainvillea, and nature explodes in a riot of green. Every corner of the property is imbued with ancient flavors: the walls and the utensils of the past, covered with an ancient patina, offer hints that tell of a history of people and a land, where they once gathered amid chatter and daily gestures that, due to their ritual nature, have taken on a different meaning today. Within the Belvedere Estate, the main building is Casina di Summa, a small, old farmhouse that has been transformed and expanded by the owners over the years into a comfortable and refined summer residence. It is surrounded by greenery and has terraces and gazebos on the ground floor and the same on the first floor, where there are two rooms of different types. Check-in is from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Check-out is before 10:00 a.m. The cost includes final cleaning and the initial supply of bed linen and towels. Additional linens are available on request for a fee of €10.00 for sheets and €10.00 for a set of three towels.
