Quintessential Maine cabin on Bonny Eagle Pond! Come relax in this private, cozy cabin in beautiful Southern Maine. The cabin boasts private access to a 211-acre quiet body of water w/ a dock, along with kayaks, paddle boards, floats, seating and tables and more! The large yard offers two fire pits, yard games, outdoor dining and cooking. The cabin offers an enclosed porch, indoor dining, a full kitchen, a workspace with free Wi-Fi, and comfortable beds and is nestled in on a small private road. The space There are 4 cozy rooms. The queen bedroom in the back has a shared pocket door with the office/twin bedroom, but each room has a dedicated private entry from another room. There is an additional queen bedroom. There is a bunk room with a twin over full bunk bed - the bunk bed is *only* appropriate for kids. The office room has two twin beds along with a desk and a tv. This room is very sunny with great views! This cabin is best suited for up to 4 adults, as it is on a small, private septic system with a small water heater - more adults may stay but you may need to space out showers. Please reach out to discuss this further if you have more than 4 adults and/or have additional questions. The living room has a couch and chairs along with a tv and floor cushions. The dining area is just off the kitchen and open to the living room. There is a small table off the kitchen for cards, puzzles, and games or a little breakfast nook! There is one bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet and a half bath with a sink and toilet. There is a beautiful screened in porch and outdoor sectional. This overlooks the whole yard and the water. There is a traditional fire pit on the property that is shared with the blue house. There is a private shed, patio, and a gas fire table. There is an electric grill and a charcoal grill available to use. We will provide some yard games for you as well. You have access to the shed for extra storage as needed. There is a mini split heat pump which keeps the cabin cool and dry on hot and humid days! New this season is a dishwasher and small washer/dryer unit and a back exit to a private patio. There is a small walk down a private (but shared with the blue house) path to the waterfront. You cross a right of way to get there, so while the waterfront is our private waterfront, you are not stepping out on to the water from the house. For the waterfront, we provide life jackets, floats, kayaks, a standup paddle board, and plenty of seating. There is a dedicated patio and dock, though you will see neighbors! There is also raft to swim or boat to that is shared with the blue house! The water is shallow for quite a distance, with a nice sandy bottom. There is some fishing equipment available to use, but feel free to bring your own! This is a well-known fishing spot well stocked with a variety of fish. There is plenty of parking available, but we recommend no more than 3 cars. You cannot park on the street. There’s a shared driveway between the red cabin and a blue house in the back. The blue house has a private back yard and it is optional to rent both units together and share the whole property. Guest access The entire cabin is yours to use, including the newly added private patio, shed, and a screen porch with comfortable outdoor seating. There is a waterfront with a dedicated patio and dock, and shared (with blue house) water equipment and shed. The yard behind the red shed is good for yard games, the private with seating, charcoal grill and electric grill, and shed. Parking lot shared with the blue house but with dedicated spaces, shared fire pit and picnic table. Other things to note Please connect with us for special accommodations! We are pretty flexible, just reach out! Pets may be considered on a case-by-case basis. You will have wi-fi, televisions, some channels, ability to log into your streaming services, and more. We provide plenty of beach towels along with most everything you need to get started. There are stores in both directions under 2 minutes away and hundreds of other places within 25 minutes in all directions.
