This rustic house is located in a quiet rural part of Madeira in Raposeira (Faja da Ovelha) in Calheta parish. Casa Caramelo is a 100 years old traditional Madeirian stone house, which used to be a local school building. It has been recently renovated and provides all modern comfort inside. Ground floor accommodation (approx. 40 sq.m. total area) is a totally separate unit of the house, with separate entrance and car parking, to provide maximum comfort and privacy. Since the owner of Casa Caramelo and her dog (very friendly German Shepherd called Enola) live upstairs, the guests will be sharing the garden area. For the guest's comfort this accommodation is equipped with all the usual features, such as bed linen and towels, free Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine, sun-loungers, etc. Casa Caramelo is very well located: 15 minutes drive to Calheta beach, supermarket Pingo Doce, ATM and marina with lots of restaurants 5 minutes drive to the nearest BP petrol station and small supermarket 10 minutes drive from the light house of Ponta do Pargo, where you can watch amazing sunsets Levada (irrigation channels) between Prazeres and Ponta do Pargo is 5 minutes walk from the house.
