I rarely rent this condo and, when I do, it’s about $200 a night. I’m offering it for only $100 a night, plus discount, for a family that would like to stay for a period that includes May 26 to June 17, and is willing to care for my two dogs. Use of my car is an option. This spacious condo is located in Marina Palmira, with access to our gated parking area through the security gate of the Marine Waterfront Hotel. The condo features a wrap-around terrace with beautiful views of the Bay of La Paz. The space This is a personal residence that is completely furnished with two large bedrooms with super comfortable beds (one California king and one queen) and two full bathrooms (one ensuite). The wrap-around terrace provides beautiful views of the desert landscaped gardens, oversize pool and the bay of La Paz. Both bedrooms and the living room have direct access to the terrace via glass sliding doors. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and the living room has a flat screen TV, DVD player and Dish Network satellite TV. There is good internet access with fiber optic service (50 down 20 up). There are only 16 units in this development so it is normally quiet, private and the oversize pool gets very light use. Guest access Marina Palmira is located on the Malecon (seaside walkway) that provides a beautiful walk or bike path to the center of town, and also about one mile away from town to some public beaches. There is private access to the Marina through the gardens where you will find two restaurants, a small tienda, a dive school etc. There is a small beach area, with relatively shallow water for swimming, about 5 minutes walk from the condo. Secure protected, covered parking with gated access for the building is provided. There are only 16 units in the building and access to this second floor condo is with via steps or elevator. Other things to note There are numerous Tiburon Ballenas (whale sharks) that hanging out in the Bay of La Paz. These are the largest "fish" in the sea and the juveniles that are usually here are between 12 and 20 feet long; you can take a short panga ride to visit and swim with them. Unfortunately, the local secret is out and visitors come from Los Cabos, and other areas to see and swim with the whale sharks, when they are here. This has made regulation of the number of pangas and swimmers, in that area, necessary. Day long panga trips to visit Isla Espritu Santo and its sea lion colony are also a treat.
