A day on the houseboat: wake up refreshed to have an espresso in the morning sun on the front terrace. To kickstart the day jump in the water from the swimming platform. Or paddle around in the canoe (free) or on the SUPs (free). The houseboat has a good bathroom & towels to take a shower afterwards. The supermarket is around the corner where you can buy freshly baked bread for your breakfast. Some nice options to do afterwards. Enjoy a bikeride to the beautiful cities Hindeloopen and Workum (2 bikes for rent). Or the other way past the sluices and via Reade Klif to former fishing village Laaksum. Go shopping by train in Leeuwarden or Sneek. You can rent our electric boat to enjoy a lazy day on the water. The ferry takes you across the IJsselmeer to Enkhuizen. Enjoy a nice bbq in the garden of the houseboat or use your cooking skills in the kitchen. If you prefer to dine out there are some nice restaurants. Finish the day by admiring the sunset over the IJsselmeer at the harborlights of Stavoren.
