Waterfront with private dock and huge patio overlooking the Hudson River. Great for outdoor activities such as kayaking, fishing, swimming, tubing, and relaxing. 14 miles to Lake George, 18 miles to Saratoga. Screened in gazebo, & fire pits to relax and unwind. With large sliding doors, most of the house has views of the river. We have three kayaks for you to enjoy. You will feel at home and comfortable in this spacious home! In winter months, we are close to skiing and ice fishing spots. The space Please note: this is NOT a party house, our neighbors will not tolerate loud groups. If you are looking to host drinking games...not the place to rent. Cell coverage can be spotty, but we have excellent WiFi and a landline at the property. Circular driveway for parking, and carport will accommodate most boats. Although we cannot launch/dock at our property, the Upper Hudson boat launch is less than a quarter mile away! In the spring/summer/fall months, enjoy fishing, kayaking, volleyball or cornhole. Everything you need is provided for these activities. There is a wood firepit by the river, and a propane firepit on the deck. Lots of space to spread out in this backyard! The huge cement patio by the river is a favorite- hours will be spent hanging out by your own space next to the water. There is a gradual entry point for the river. It is a bit rocky (not sandy), but certainly accessible! In the winter, you will feel cozy inside watching the river from the large glass windows. The property is just 14 miles to Lake George, for Winter Carnival and other events. West Mountain is just 10 minutes away for skiing and tubing, and the Six Flags Indoor Water Park is 18 minutes from the property. Guest access The entire house, with the exception of a small storage room and the basement. Other things to note Please note: We typically put the dock in the week before Memorial Day, and take it out after Labor Day. However, you will still have access to the river and the patio an excellent spot to sit riverside and enjoy the foliage and crisp fall campfires!
