Close to 11 Mile Canyon, Mueller State Park, Florissant Fossil Beds, Garden of Gods, & white water rafting. Close by fishing. The space Welcome to Grace On the Lake! This charming 2 bedroom apartment sits at the base of a one acre hill and is built into the hillside for extra privacy. This apartment is the entire top level, steps are required to get to the door and enter the property. This is a perfect romantic spot for two! We can also accommodate families and have books, games, a high chair and pack n play. Queen Sealy posturepedic mattress in private bedrooms to accommodate up to 4 guests. Lovely kitchen with everything you need for making and enjoying a meal. Coffee pot, convection microwave, air fry toaster oven and 2 burner induction cooktop. Large living area for relaxing with large Roku TV. Updated bathroom with shower and tub. Back patio with amazing views of Pikes Peak, gas grill. This is a shared area with the owners on the main floor. Priority and privacy are given to guests. Guest access There is designated outdoor parking in the front of the home. No parking on the street is allowed. The main lake (Burgess Reservoir) is directly in front of the home. Guests are allowed to walk around the lake utilizing roads, but lake usage is reserved for neighborhood residents only at this time. Other things to note PLEASE READ PRIOR TO BOOKING! -Please note that this is a quiet neighborhood and no parties or disruptive actives are permitted. All neighborhood and recreation rules must be followed as outlined in the house manual. Although neighbors are few and far between, it is still located in a neighborhood and we have to be courteous to the surrounding properties. -There are security cameras on the exterior of the property. These cameras are on at all times and record video for your safety. There are no cameras inside the home. -We have Starlink internet and it rocks! It is very fast and if you should need to work remotely, there should no issue getting it done quickly. -Cell service can be spotty but WIFI calling is GREAT! Look for the code on the door as you enter. -The property is located at a high altitude of 9,000 feet and altitude sickness may occur. Please drink extra water and take necessary precautions/preparations to help you adjust to the elevation. Liquid oxygen drops in water are a great trick to adjusting. -Absolutely NO campfires. *The fire ring is for owners only!* We take fire safety very seriously and you will be asked to leave if there is any outside fire activity. -please plan to arrive for check-in before 10pm. The deck lights are on a timer and it can be harder to see without them. If you are arriving late, let me know and I will make sure you have lights. *** with no light pollution, we have amazing star viewing! -The neighborhood roads are unpaved but very well maintained. Although you do not need AWD or 4WD for our property, you should use extra caution between November and May, if the roads appear icy. The neighborhood roads are plowed and maintained very well by the county. -There are lots of wildlife in the area! Please do not leave any food or trash outside since bears and other animals frequent the area. The deer will literally walk up to you on our property, so talk softly and kindly, but please do not feed them - it is against Colorado law
