Welcome to the Reliance Retreat in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley! Our luxurious space is inviting and tranquil. Whether you're just passing through or need some peace and quiet away from the city, this cozy house has an amazing mountain view we know you'll enjoy. The house sleeps two and includes all the amenities you'll need in every area of the home. We hope you'll grab a book, your favorite snacks and find yourself a cozy spot whether it's inside, on the patio, or out by the fire pit The space While providing peace and quiet out in the country, this house is minutes from both major highways I66 and I81. 15 minutes from the Shenandoah National Park. Easy and ample parking and one story accessibility make The Reliance Retreat welcoming to all. Inside, you'll find this quiet and cozy house with modern touches a home away from homes. It features a queen bed as well as a queen sleeper sofa, laundry closet, fully stocked kitchen, grill, workspace with high speed internet, smart tv, and don't forget about that breathtaking view! The backyard is completely fenced, making it a great place to enjoy for pets as well. This once Post Office & General Store was turned into a house in 2012/13 and updated in 2023. We hope you find as much peace and joy here as we do. Guest access Guests will have full access to the house, laundry closet and linen closet. There is a locked utility closet inside. There is a shed with lawn chairs and yard games out back. Other things to note If you have any allergies or special requests, please let us know at the time of booking so we can try and accommodate and/or make sure you will be comfortable. The property has well water. We have both a whole house water filter as well as a water softener but it is different than city water. We provide a fillable water filter but some guests prefer to bring bottled water to drink. The home has a queen bed and a queen sized pullout. It is most comfortable with 2 guests but if you have a child in your family bringing the guest count to 3, please just let me know if you feel the space would suit your needs. Garbage days are on Mondays. The can can be placed at the road.
