The Heron rests in Nantmel and can sleep five people in two bedrooms. There is a kitchen/living room with electric oven, two-ring hob, fridge with ice box and a sitting area with TV. The bedrooms have a double and a triple bunk bed, along with two external, shared shower rooms. Outside, there is a private decked area with a fire pit, a hot tub and furntiure, as well as off-road parking for one car. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. On the outskirts of the town, the Red Kite Feeding Station is a fantastic site that should not be missed. The magnificent Elan and Claerwen Valley dams and reservoirs are located in Rhayader, which is the first town on the River Wye. The Elan Valley has many different walking and cycling paths (you can rent bicycles in Rhayader), as well as a visitor centre with a café and a playground for kids.
