Chalet Lykke is the perfect place to share unique moments together. Located in a quiet residential area but still close to city center, the lake, and many forest trails. Designed to accommodate up to 8 people (and a baby) you benefit from a large landscaped garden and playground, an outdoor Jacuzzi heated all year round and an indoor playroom for the children. The scenic setting adds to the sense of escape and relaxation. Bed linen, towels, WiFi, heating and electricity are included in the price The space The chalet has been totally renovated in 2023 and offers a breathtaking view of the valley and the ski station le Mauselaine in Gérardmer (4km from the chalet). Its four bedrooms are spread over two floors, accommodating up to 8 people (and a baby). On the ground floor you have a separate entrance to store your jackets and shoes, a bathroom with toilet, basin and a walk-in shower; a bedroom with double bed (160/200) and a living room of 60 m2 including a fully equipped kitchen; dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, large fridge with freezer, coffee maker(one filter machine and one nespresso krups), toaster, kettle, raclette machine. From the dining area you can enjoy your coffee in the morning with a splendid view of the sunrise, or step out onto the garden to breathe in the fresh mountain air. The living room is equipped with a smart TV and a wood insert, with access to the spacious balcony of 30 m2 facing south. Upstairs, you will find a bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet and double sink, 3 bedrooms, 1 with two single beds (90/200) and 2 with double bed (160/200) and access to a balcony with a magnificent view of the ski slopes. In the basement there is a garage for one car with a charging plug 3,7 kW for electric car, and storage for skis / bikes / stroller as well as a ping-pong table. You also have a games room for children with toys and board games and TV, a room with a pool table and TV, a separate toilet and a laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Outside you can enjoy a private garden with sun loungers and barbecue in the summer, and a large covered terrace at the back with a jacuzzi heated all year for your moments of relaxation. For cars, you will have 2 additional spaces outside. Behind the chalet, you have access to a large enclosed area that is reserved for our two chalets, where the kids can have fun on the trampoline and the play structure, or you can all enjoy a game of pétanque on the boules pitch. In the summer you might see cows or horses visiting the neighbour field, or you could be lucky to see a fox or a deer early in the morning. The chalet is heated by radiators thanks to a heat pump. In the winter months you can also enjoy a cozy evening by the fire. Upstairs, you have a hot/cold heat pump that makes the temperature pleasant in both winter and summer. Included in the price are variable charges (wifi, water, heating and electricity). We provide bed linens (beds are made before arrival) and towels, but no beach towels. Gérardmer and its surroundings offer many year-round activities and places to visit, and we woulde be happy to give suggestions on what to do and see in the region.
