In the spring, summer, and fall, lush greenery and furns hang outlining the porch, sides and front of the building. Built in 1912, the home's craftsman architecture captures a Frank Lyord Wright, homey flair filled with charm and personality. One immediately walks into an environment that is homey, comfortable, relaxed, and laid-back. You take a deep breath and relax. Free off street parking, up to 4 SUV’s in driveway. Guest access Make sure you punch in zip code 15215 in your GPS to find house. There are 3 streets with the same name in different parts of Pittsburgh. You can park in the driveway on the RIGHT side of the house. There is plenty of free street parking available. Host will greet you upon arrival for a brief orientation of the house. Take note and if needed, you can text me, and I can remotely unlock the door. Once oriented to home, you can come and go as you please using the August keyless system. Shortly after booking the guestroom, you will receive an invite from AirBnB requesting to download the app, August Keyless System. Download the app and follow the directions. It is so easy. You do not need to worry about lost keys or handing over key. Guest can come and go as you please. Have no smart phone? No worries, got you covered. An alternative key system will be discussed the day before your arrival. No other guest will share your space. Doors have locks. The third floor has door lock on the 2nd floor which has the office. During your stay Guests are welcome to interact as little or as much as one wants. I am happy to answer any questions or concerns you might have. Whatever comfort level is OK. In order for me to run a legal AirBnB, Aspinwall requires host lives on property being the primary residence. I live in the basement with a separate entrance. There is no access for guests. I am home in the evenings. Guests will hardly know I am there. I will be available for any questions or address any concerns during your stay via AirBnB platform. Other things to note SPECIAL OCCASIONS PACKAGE! For a birthday, anniversary, or making the time away special, iced champagne, and chocolate for two will greet you on arrival. Note: PET OWNERS It is my goal for "all" of my guests to have comfortable and relaxing accommodations. A water bowl and food bowl are provided. A fresh kitty litter box filled with cat litter for your feline buddy is also provided. I have two cats who roam the house 24/7 unless other arrangements are made prior to booking. Other arrangements will be made to seclude them during your stay. No more than 2 dogs with a service fee of $25/day for 2nd dog. No 2nd cat is allowed or else be charged $150, if not approved by host prior to check-in.. Please send an inquiry prior to booking so I can prepare and set the appropriate accommodations for your pet/s. A dog poop disposal can is next to outside garbage cans outside. Disposal must be doubled bagged. If just thrown in garbage can a fine of $25 per bag will be charged. If any dog poop is not picked up in front or back yard, a fine of $125 will be charged. OPTIONS: Additional charges for the accommodations will occur if you decide you require roomier accommodations for all guests, especially, if traveling with 3 adults and a pet. It is best you send an inquiry prior to booking to discuss more comfortable accommodations. For more comfortable accommodations, I will open up my 2nd bedroom for a fee of $55/ night. This is best if booking for 3 adult guests and pet/s. You will have the privacy of the 2nd floor. Be aware, a $75 (1 time) fee for kitchen privileges to cook other meals if used during your stay will be charged. This is a listing for a BednBreakfast. It is preferred you send an inquiry to discuss additional service fees prior to booking. SMOKING I am extremely allergic to cigar/cigarette smoke. and vaping clouds (worse than cigarette smoke). Any evidence of smoking or vaping on the property, (even outside with cigarette butts, or vaping paraphernalia found) a smoking/vaping charge of $250 will be applied.
