Sugar Shack - pool beach balcony a/c optic WiFi

Paradise up on the hill overlooking the valley where cows graze, where music floats up the hill from the village of Luperon. Majestic mountains where afternoon thunderclouds develop. Pool a few yards away and a beach 12 min. walk from your door. We have also added a BBQ for balmy night outdoor meals. We have had writers and artists move in and never want to leave! The space Very private airy apartment, we named it "Sugar Shack", set on the hillside overlooking the valley, the friendly town of Luperon, the majestic mountains, ocean and the bay where you can see the boats at anchor. Lots of interaction with the locals, boaters and landlubbers who, like us, have decided to settle in this quiet paradise, or you can relax, read or write on the balcony or at the pool. A BBQ is available too. The beach close by is fun to snorkel, eat fresh seafood and drink rum or beer at the beach bar. Free wifi (fibre optic 30 Mbps), kitchen, hot shower, queen size bed with amazing views to wake up to with windows giving you a panoramic view. This apartment has an a/c. (new and silent) A few min. drive to the beach or a 12 min. walk. Lots of restaurants in Luperon (most times cheaper to eat out than cook) with local and American food, 5 min. drive away. Most visitors use the local transport which is either buses or in Luperon, a motor bike taxi, called a motoconcho, or take a mototaxi, a motorbike with a little cart behind called a Margarita by the locals. Luperon is a typical Dominican town and very safe to enjoy. Many cruising sailboats pass though our harbor on the way to and from the Bahamas and the Caribbean. See my other larger apartment "The Rest". Guest access Someone will be available to meet you on your arrival. Sugar Shack is totally private. You will have to walk through our garden to reach the entrance. All amenities are just for you except the pool and BBQ. We have a second apartment, The Rest, and if guests are there at the same time, they may use the pool too. There is parking on the street. Other things to note If you are going to be using your debit or credit card in the DR, please notify your bank. (the number on the back of your card) There is a bank in Luperon, and a few grocery stores that take ATM. There are several money exchange places in Luperon, US$, Euro or Canadian $. Luperon has a hospital/clinic (we suggest you give a donation for service) a wonderful dentist, pharmacy, tourist office, grocery stores, vegetable store, phone companies, churches, etc. We have most of what we need right in the village.
