Our resort includes a large canvas tent close to the James River and is surrounded by trees in the Canadian wilderness. Enjoy a relaxing time in peace and quiet. It is 12 feet by 14 feet on a deck with electric power inside. We have a private outhouse with an odour free composting toilet. There is an outdoor shower with hot water. Enjoy a small kitchen complete with everything you need, including a hot water sink, cooking hotplate, pots, pans and all your kitchen utensils. Guests have their own outdoor firepit. Firewood is available for purchase at booking or after check in. The resort includes seasonally maintained paths to the river as well as other paths. Stark Ranch Canada Resort is close to James River General Store, a convenience store (5 minute drive) as well as all services in the town of Sundre (15 minute drive) including a grocery store and the Sundre Golf Club.
