Mom's River House...

The cottage sits on a quiet cove with few neighbors. Old florida home with a modern touch! Peaceful and relaxing, big rocking chairs on the back porch so you can enjoy the scenery with no worries. The space The cottage is filled with antiques and represents a piece of old Florida and is like visiting grandma's house....but we have provided updated amenities...for comfort...and we have a fully furnished kitchen just remodeled and a new bathroom with upgrades and safety features. We have a fire pit with wood and a gas grill with supplies....Allen is nearby if something breaks or there is a need. Two large tvs with premium Dish Network and blue ray video with Netflix access. There is a smart tv in the master bedroom...cell phone charger for two in the living room...a sound bar...excellent wifi (if requiring work from home, check with owner.. No land line phone.) Allen has a couple of game chickens and one will crow sometimes... two docks...fish keeper and cleaner and life jackets and paddles...outdoor cooking area with wet bar (we furnish charcoal, lighter, and have cold water in the fridge....bike on quiet road down to the dam and there is a special cross Florida bike trail....put your boat in at the fish camp nearby and bring it around to the dock...plenty of parking for car or truck and boat trailer....bait nearby...Walmart in Dunnellon..state parks nearby: Rainbow Springs, Homosassa Springs, and KP Hole....Three Sisters Springs in Crystal River....with manatee tours available....We have a three night booking minimum...This is an entire house with a large yard Guest access Access to large yard landscaped with beautiful flowers, docks, bikes, canoe, 14 ft. fishing kayak, paddle boat, entire house and outside wet bar and cook area with lights, outdoor seating and rocking chairs, indoor screened room suitable for dining as well, and there is a breakfast table and a dining table...washer and dryer....all cooking utinsilsneeds with microwave, stove, fridg, pots, coffee pot, slow cooker....electric skillet.... Other things to note There is a table in the hallway with local information available on things to do and places to eat, and after booking I can send a link on things near us to enjoy and experience, we offer a great area for fishing, boating, and we’re close to all the springs, come back to nature and peaceful enjoyment! 😌 We do require a rental agreement basically outlining rules and acknowledging the renter’s responsibility in case of an accident, and the renter acknowledges responsibility in use of boats and safety equipment.
