This is an amazing two level apartment for somebody looking for a local neighborhood integration experience with a local feel while maintaining interior finishes with superior taste . It feels like a "Colombian barrio Penthouse," boasting a beautiful relaxing deck set amidst the piecemeal urban rooftops offering stunning views of the valley. With large sliding glass doors, opening up to canopy from the nearby treetops, this airy & sunny apartment is an absolute treasure for the right guest. The space This unit offers an incredible value and for many people will be an absolute gem amidst a sea of mediocre inventory. It is loft like in its layout with a kitchen, dining room and living area downstairs, and an open plan top floor so delightfully inviting you will no doubt spend all your time here. The bathroom is large, luxurious and has one of the best showers I have ever experienced with great heat and volume. This apartment gem of an apartment is HARD TO FIND! and while the neighborhood is safe it has a local feel that certainly would not appeal to those looking for a security guard in a gated community. Quite the opposite this apartment places you in the heart of the real Colombia in a Barrio Popular. Once here you will find it is extremely central and a five minute (steep) walk gets you to public transportation and greater city access. A 10 -15 minute walk gets you to some of the best restaurants Envigado has to offer in the Jardines (barrio de la buena mesa). I, the owner, am a foreigner from Colorado who has happily lived here for 5 years+ and was the president of a company here is Colombia so the apartment is safe despite trepidation that one may feel when first arriving. While I am traveling I lease out the apartment but I still live here for the majority of the year. I am looking for respectful guests who want a great space. No crazy parties please! Other things to note This great space feels like an urban treehouse!! It is set amid the tree canopy AND offers great views. You can wake up to the birds chirping, catch the daily migration of the Parrots if you are lucky and Enjoy spectacular city views.
