Welcome to Ponder, Texas, a peaceful town just 12 miles from Denton and 30 miles from Fort Worth. On our family's 1-acre property, you'll find a private, stand-alone 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom guest house. It's a perfect blend of small-town charm and modern convenience, all enclosed within a gated yard for a serene country living experience. While we can't host additional pets, our three friendly dogs will surely brighten your stay as they roam the property! The space 2 Bed 1 Bath stand alone Guesthouse with private entrance behind main residence. Spacious full size kitchen with stainless steel appliances, pantry, and large capacity washer and dryer. Living room is open concept with large screen TV and large windows to view the pretty sunrises. There are two roomy and cozy bedrooms with ample sized walk in closets. Our place can sleep up to four although we do have a roll away bed just in case! We have motion sensor lights outside from the private side driveway to the entrance of the Guesthouse behind gate. Please make sure the gate is securely latched as we do have 3 friendly pooches that wander the yard! Guest access You have access to the Guesthouse and the porch as well as the driveway and the back yard. There is a picnic table for sitting and enjoying the view as well as a fire pit for those that might want to enjoy popping popcorn or making S'mores! Other things to note We are in the country. As with anywhere in the country there can be some local wildlife so please be aware of your surroundings!
