Birch Cleave Stables

Birch Cleave Stables is a traditionally built stone property in Simonsbath, recently renovated to a high standard with all modern conveniences. It is all on the ground floor, with just one step up through the front door, making it suitable for guests with restricted mobility, though it is not wheelchair accessible. Please note this property welcomes over-18s only. The space Sleeping up to 4 guests across 2 bedrooms, the property has one bedroom with a king-sized double bed and one with a super-king zip-link bed that can be made into twin beds on request. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath, toilet and hand basin. The open-plan living-dining room features a modern kitchen, a large corner sofa and a wood-burner for cosy evenings, with logs and kindling provided to get you started. The well-equipped kitchen includes a fridge with small freezer compartment, dishwasher, instant boiling water tap, washing machine, tumble dryer, electric oven and hob, toaster, kettle, cafetière and a Nespresso machine with a few pods provided. A dining table seats 4. The living area has a television with Freesat and free wifi throughout. An iron, ironing board and hairdryers are provided, along with bed linen and towels. Both bedrooms offer storage, hanging space and USB charge points. Electricity and heating, including central heating throughout, are included in the price. Outside, a garden area surrounds the property with outdoor furniture and a firepit barbecue (guests should bring their own logs or charcoal). Off-road parking for two cars is available directly outside. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome at a charge of GBP 20 per dog per booking, provided they are kept off the furniture and beds. Stabling for up to two horses is also available to the rear of the property at GBP 15 per stable per night, with guests asked to bring their own bedding and feed (no turnout available). The property is strictly non-smoking. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am.
