Holidays at Lake Roxen, Motala Ström and Göta Canal

Roxen, Motala Ström and Gota Canal is this wing of the mansion, which was completely renovated in 2009/2010. Living space of 180 sq.m. is divided into three bedrooms, one larger with a lake view and two smaller. It is equipped with a bathroom with toilet and bath in connection with the master bedroom. For the small bedrooms there is bathroom with toilet and shower. Living room is adjacent to the small bedrooms and a large living room with open plan to the dining area and kitchen. In the living room there is also a convertible sofa. Living room and dining area are overlooking the water and there is an exit to the terrace with patio, and stairs down to garden and bridge. The house also has a guest WC. The wings are connected to the large manor house built in the late - 1800s. They are not traditionally placed on each side of the manor but is located a bit away from the manor house, which contributes to a very secluded and private location. The wings are located in a private park area, where there are large and trimmed lawns, and there is pastures where grazing horses and sheep and often goes.  Outside the Lake Roxen and Motala river meet and about 300 meters from the house you see Göta Canal. A private jetty and rowing boat is there for your freely use during your stay. The boat can come in handy, given all the fish in the lakes, pike, perch, etc.. Opposite the house, across the lake you can see the ancient remains of Bishop Brask. The society Norsholm is just a kilometer away. There you can go by car, walk or row with the boat there. Norsholm is a nice summerplace by Gota Canal. 3 bedrooms: 1. with double bed 180 cm, 2. with single bed 90 cm + extra bed if required, 3. with single bed 90 cm + extra bed if required.) Sofa bed for one person in the living area. It might become really narrow when the extrabeds are put up.
