Water in Milford haven is amazingly warm till October and shallow even few hundred feet out, with white sand. Very safe to swim or to lounge. Water remains calm for the most part and is great for standup paddle boarding, kayaking, and fishing. Since water is like swimming pool, just lounging in it is a great experience with family and friends. Local area offers kayaks to be delivered. Property features plenty of well-maintained flat grass area for activities, sports or just for walk around and explore. Chairs for siting by the water and you might spot dolphins swim by. Dining table on the deck with outdoor furniture on the porch for warm gatherings. Areas around the property offers incredible fishing for Striper, Trout, and Croaker as well as plenty of Blue crabs walking around chilling. Plenty of oysters on the shoreline, getting washed out. Guest access The garage building, Fish Hut and Shed are not part of the rental . There are no shared spaces in the main house. You will have exclusive access to the entire main house during your stay. You’ll find a beautiful private sandy beach (about 600ft) on the left side of the property, along with about 900 feet of total shoreline for you to enjoy. Sandy beach area on the left is part of the property and can be accessed easily along the shoreline during low tide. At high tide, it's still walkable by wading through shallow water, typically safe even 50 feet out. We've cleared a path (bush hogged) to make walking to the beach easier, though it may be damp if there’s been recent rain. Whether strolling the shoreline or relaxing on the sand, this quiet stretch of beach is all yours to enjoy. Other things to note You may encounter bugs and wildlife around the peninsula due to the surrounding wetlands. We strongly encourage you to bring bug spray and mosquito repellent.
