There are numerous scenic and popular walks in the area; along the sandy and pebble beach to Sandbraes and the point at Kings Cross as well as forestry walks to Glenashdale Falls and Giants Graves, with the option of heading further along the forestry tracks to either Lamlash or Kildonan. Whiting Bay 18 hole golf course is a few minutes drive from the house. Please note the Calmac ferry from Ardrossan to Brodick can be busy, especially in the summer months, so early booking is highly recommended.
