Overlooking Lyall Harbour, you will have front row seats to spectacular summer sunsets and the ever-changing vista. It's perfect for one or two people looking to experience the uniqueness of Saturna Island and the beauty of the seasons in the Southern Gulf Islands. Lyall Harbour is safe for swimming. There are no predators, such as bears or cougars, on Saturna. We have sought to equip Bella Haven to a high standard and to anticipate your needs for a memorable stay. The open-plan living space, and the many windows, provide a feeling of spaciousness and light. Although there are no laundry facilities in the beach house, arrangements can be made, by appointment, to use the washer and dryer in our house if required. * We must mention our big friendly pooches, Dudley and Angus! They will greet you from the other side of the fence, but have no access to your patio or living space. They may be "vocal" upon your arrival but they settle quickly. Our beautiful and peaceful setting lends itself to relaxation, but is also a perfect home-base for: - photographers - hikers - cyclists - nature lovers - star gazers - scuba divers - kayakers - writers - artists -beachcombers ....and dreamers Nearly 50% of Saturna Island is protected by the Gulf Islands National Park. Additional parks bring the total of protected areas close to 70%. There are breathtaking views and vast areas to explore.
