Cape Foulwind, Carters Beach, and 2 hours away from the Southern Alpine mountain park, Nelson Lakes National Park. What's more, we're just an hour from Punakaiki, home to the Pancake Rocks and an excellent base for exploring Paparoa National Park. The coast is dotted with lush coastal forests, incredible limestone cliffs and canyons, mysterious caves, pristine rivers, and spectacular coastlines. A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). IMPORTANT NOTE: If you're booking for a group, we also have a second tiny home, "The Coast 1," available with 24 hours' notice, ensuring you have even more cozy holiday homes to enjoy. Guest Access: Guests will have access to our cozy tiny home and its surrounding areas, including direct access from the access road. Located just an hour from Punakaiki, home to the Pancake Rocks, and not far from Paparoa National Park, kayaking, horse trekking, rafting, and nature tours are just a few of the things you can do. Our local recommendations include Nelson Lakes National Park, Cape Foulwind, and Paparoa National Park. You’ll also want to check out Carter's Beach and the Seal Colony at Tauranga Bay. Each spot brings something different, all within reach and worth the trip.
