Little Bliss Staunton-On-Wye

Relax in our beautiful 2 bedroom oak beamed self contained annex. Set within a peaceful village situated in the Herefordshire countryside, on the border of Wales. Within easy reach of Hay on Wye, Brecon, Ludlow, Ledbury, Leominster and Hereford. A short drive from the meandering River Wye great for walkers, cyclists, fishing & canoeing. Our small, quiet, friendly village with Black & white houses, fields of crops, sheep & orchards, with minimal light pollution making starry nights amazing. The space You will be staying in a private, self contained, 2 bedroomed annexe adjoining our home by locked doors. You will have a private entrance, small but well equipped kitchen, bathroom, & extra downstairs toilet. All the rooms have original oak beams, yet light & airey. The staircase leads to the master suite (a mezzanine) featuring a king-size bed, & access through to a hallway, off which is the 2nd double & bathroom. There is a comfortable double sofa bed downstairs if needed to sleep up to 6 (which must be requested). You are welcome to use our garden, & have a designated patio area. We have 2 friendly cats, a dog & several chickens that generally free range (although they can be locked away if you have a pet). The village (about 10 miles from Hereford town), has a local pub within walking distance (not open everyday). There are pubs, restaurants, and small convenience shops within driving distance for food & essentials. The area is full of beautiful walks, an large orchard within a five minute walk and public footpaths . The river Wye is a 5 minute drive away. We have a bus stop in the village but a car is highly recommended to get the most out of the scenery, hills, golf courses, lakes & river etc all within a short drive. Guest access Guest have a private 2/3 car driveway, & private access to the property. We have a large garden that you are welcome to use. You will also have a designated patio area, that is solely for your use that seats 4 (if additional seating is required please ask). Other things to note Please note that the stair case is open into the master bedroom & access to the 2nd bedroom & bathroom is through the master suite (please see photos). Bring a torch, wellies, and waterproofs in the winter. Plenty of walking, fishing, canoeing, climbing, antiques shops, quaint villages, etc. Something for everyone. The village has a play park within walking distance. There is Wifi, and a TV, but if you wish to switch off, we have plenty of books & board games to help you relax, & enjoy your stay. We have a good sized garden that you are welcome to enjoy. we have a selection of fruit trees including apple, pear, plum & greengage that you are welcome to pick & enjoy when in season.
