The bathroom features a newly refinished bathtub with a new shower fixture so you can take a true standing shower. This unit is located in a historic building that was originally built in 1918. This specific unit was a Barber Shop many years ago. You will find high ceilings and lots of character. Other things to note Our property is located in a quiet, historic part of Freeport, Texas. While the building itself houses a few active businesses and other short-term rentals, you may notice that some neighboring buildings are currently unoccupied. This can give the area a quieter or less populated feel, especially during the evenings. We want to assure you that the neighborhood is safe and peaceful, but it may not have the bustling atmosphere of a more tourist-heavy location. That said, several great restaurants, shops, and attractions are just a short drive away. If you’re looking for a restful stay with easy access to local highlights while experiencing a slice of Freeport’s charm and character, this is the perfect spot for you! Just a reminder that this property is a studio space and not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. This property is very close to the water and this can lead to a smell of sulfur in the water supply at times. There is parking directly in front of the building however, if there are any events in the square, you may need to park nearby and walk to the unit.
