Description
880 sq ft corner 1BR on the 22nd floor — Fifth Ave & 48th, one block from Rockefeller Center. Built for 30+ night stays: in-unit washer/dryer, 24/7 doorman, fast wifi + wired ethernet, and floor-to-ceiling skyline views from every room. Guests relocating, on assignment, or between homes stay a month and wish they'd booked two. 30-night minimum per NYC law. The space An 880 sq ft corner condo on the 22nd floor: one bedroom, one and a half baths, white oak floors, and 10-foot floor-to-ceiling windows on the corner exposures that keep the whole apartment bright from morning to sunset. LIVING + DINING A sunlit corner living area with a 60-inch HDTV (Apple TV, Chromecast, premium cable), a Bose Bluetooth speaker, and a dining table set against the windows with skyline views. The sofa converts to a bed for a third guest. The dining table doubles as a skyline-view workspace; wired ethernet is at the TV console. BEDROOM Queen bed, room-darkening shades, generous closet and clothing storage, and city views. BATHROOMS The en-suite is finished in Calacatta gold marble with double vessel sinks, a deep soaking tub, and a separate glass shower. The half bath also houses the in-unit washer and dryer. KITCHEN — a straight answer It's a sleek Italian kitchenette concealed behind sliding doors: Sub-Zero refrigerator, Kupperbush electric stove and single oven, dishwasher, microwave, cooking basics, dishes and silverware, plus coffee, kettle, toaster, blender, wine glasses and even a bread maker. It is genuinely compact, with minimal counter space — ideal for breakfasts, simple dinners, and reheating, less so for serious cooking. Midtown's restaurants and delivery handle the rest. Central air conditioning and heating throughout; wifi plus wired ethernet for calls that can't drop. Guest access The entire apartment is yours — no shared spaces and no host on site. • Self check-in with building staff: arrive any time after 3 PM and the 24/7 doorman team will welcome you and hand over your keys. • Building amenities: elevator to the 22nd floor, gym in the building (gym access via building registration; ask us for current terms), and an attended lobby around the clock. • Inside the unit, everything is available for your stay: kitchen, both bathrooms, in-unit washer and dryer, TV, and the sound system. Other things to note A few things worth knowing before you book — we'd rather tell you now than surprise you later. 📍 MONTHLY STAYS ONLY. This home has a 30-night minimum (in line with New York City rules for entire-apartment stays) and is priced with a monthly discount. It works best as a base for relocations, work assignments, and extended visits — most of our guests stay a month or longer. 🍳 THE KITCHEN IS COMPACT. It's a well-equipped kitchenette concealed behind sliding doors (Sub-Zero fridge, Kupperbush stove and oven, dishwasher), but counter space is very limited. Perfect for breakfasts and simple meals; if you cook ambitiously every night, this may not be your kitchen. 🔊 MIDTOWN MORNINGS. This is the center of Manhattan: on weekday mornings you may hear street traffic and occasional construction noise. Light sleepers: the bedroom has room-darkening shades. 🔑 CHECK-IN. Self check-in with the building's staff — the 24/7 doorman team will let you in and hand over keys any time after 3 PM. Checkout is by 11 AM. 🛏 SLEEPING. One queen bedroom plus a living-room sofa bed; 3 guests maximum. 🔧 FIXED & DOCUMENTED. In April 2026 we had a plumbing failure that ruined a guest's stay. A licensed plumber rebuilt the line; we have the report, and every stay since has been issue-free. We'd rather you read that from us than from the review.
