We are looking for longer term rentals not less than 3 months between August 25, 2025 and July 5, 2026. Amherst Island is a gem, with a vibrant and artistic community. During the winter months the rare snowy owls make this their home. The 200 feet unobstructed waterfront is yours to enjoy. Launch your kayak, dip in the fresh water or just enjoy reading with the lake lapping at your feet. The ferry runs regularly and there is a fire station on the island that provides immediate assistance including medical evacuation (helicopter). We have both electric heating and a high performance fireplace. Guests are responsible for their own utilities.
