The space Since purchasing the cabin in the summer of 2022, we have been updating Scout Camp Cabin to reflect our dream of having a comfortable, updated, and sharable cabin. We mix high quality mattresses, couches, and appointments with the rustic, all wood interior to give you all the cabin feels while also making sure you’re enjoying the comfortable and stylish space. The big and small details are a reflection of what we want in our own home, and are inspired by years of exploring and staying in the most beautiful rentals in the world. Guest access Entire cabin and property, with the exception of a few locked closets and storage rooms. ** laundry access available for weeklong stays or for an additional fee. ** Other things to note The cabin sits on a hill with a gorgeous view of Hemlock Lake and its islands. This does mean there is a bit of a climb back up the steps from the dock and waters edge. Dock provides boat parking for 1-2 boats - please let us know if you’re bringing a boat and how many - and their sizes if more than 1. Please alert us if you need a boat rental recommendation. We have a great recommendation right on our chain of lakes. Scout Camp Cabin has heating and cooling, but like most cabins in the north woods, does not function as well controlling inside temps in high heat and extreme freezing. We’ll leave with pointers on how to best utilize heating and cooking elements throughout the cabin to help regulate the interior temp in these conditions.
