A modern family, and pet, friendly getaway in the heart of Dartmoor National Park. Explore the ancient moors - a stone’s throw from your door, with its tors, wild ponies and views out to sea - and the river Avon, perfect for swimming & wildlife watching. Swim / surf beaches are 30 mins away, and the creative / culinary hubs of Ashburton and Totnes are close, with artisan bakeries, galleries and independent shops and restaurants. The space The property has a generous footprint, with the large living / dining room that leads to a good sized kitchen. The two bedrooms are light and airy, with the master bedroom featuring a king sized bed. They are situated opposite a spacious bathroom, with a shower and bath, perfect to relax in at the of a fun-packed day, spent walking, swimming and enjoying the clean Devon air. Time and care has been taken in decorating the holiday home to ensure it's as stylish as it is comfortable / practical and it features a Sonos music system and a Nespresso coffee machine. It has an outdoor space including an outdoor dining area. The apartment is accessed via a shale path, approximately 10m from the parking area. Combine with Shipley Lodge for larger groups. Guest access Guests have access to their own garden and also the woodlands with our friendly sheep. Children are welcome to join in with daily feeding! Other things to note Should you have larger groups, you can combine with other dwellings on the property. Bala Lodge (sleeps 4), Abbots Reach (sleeps 2). Should you wish to be catered for we will happily provide select meals, should that be of interest. Please note that the hamlet of Didworthy is approached via narrow lanes. There are plenty of passing places but we like to make people aware of this.
