Located only about 12 minutes from PHL (via car/lyft/uber) and under 10 minutes from Center City & South St. Newly renovated and ready for visiting. So whether you're in town for business, pleasure or a game The "SPJ" is for you! The space Purchased in summer of 2019, this 1920 built, traditional Row-home was given a full revamp. Keeping it unique and somewhat original to it's historic roots, we only gave the home a subtle modern touch, leaving the original touches like the stairs and banisters in place. While many choose to gut these homes and give them a complete modern look, we wanted to keep it cozy, warm, yet chic. The "SPJ" was completely redone and also made into a comfortable 2/3 bedroom, 2 bath from it's original 2/1 state. We (the owners) handled all the touches & work ourselves with the help of friends and family & truly hope you can appreciate and enjoy the space as we do when we're in town! The addition of the lower level suite/bedroom was important; we wanted a separate space for folks to enjoy and let's face it, 1 bathroom simply doesn't cut it. You'll also find a fully stocked kitchen, where you'll be able to cook & entertain yourselves (and your guests). The "SPJ" is located only 2 blocks from the Stadium District, this property is amazingly close to all the stadiums, the soon to be Casino & Gaming venue! We personally love the walk-ability in this area, bars, pubs, restaurants of all sorts are all within 5-10 minutes away! It's also located close to Philly's Broad St. subway which will get you to anywhere in the city. Best part, it's 10 minutes (depending on traffic) away from the airport!! All areas are accessible to guests(unless otherwise noted/discussed), but please note that there are steps inside the property. Entry is via a secure smart keypad system that’s really easy to use. We appreciate your courtesy in advance! Other things to note •No smoking in this Philly house for 6, please. We want to keep it looking (and smelling) super fresh for all guests. •No pets please. Sorry, the home just isn’t suitable for them. •No parties or events are to be hosted here (we've had to many people violate our trust and moreover the rules, we may allow a small get-together, but you will need to book the place for the amount of people that will be in the house and no more than 8 at any time are allowed). Please respect the right of your neighbors to live peacefully and quietly by keeping noise levels low at all times, but especially between 10PM and 8AM. •Check-in is anytime after 4PM. Please check out by 11AM (we can sometimes accommodate a later checkout, just ask.) •Security Deposit - if you damage the home, or violate the no party/gathering/smoking rule, or have more people in the house than you reserved/booked it for you will be charged up to $399. You agree to pay for any damages you cause to the home. •Please remove shoes upon entry. *Please take note that we do not accept liability for any personal items left behind from your stay, but we will do our very best to return any items you may forget following departure. If these items require shipping back to you, there will be an automatic charge of $30 (prices may vary for large items). **PARKING; this beautiful home is located in the heart of South Philly, meaning all parking will be STREET parking. There are no guaranteed spots, we usually find a spot either on the block or sometimes a few blocks away, this is something important to note if you're driving. We've never had a problem when we stay in our home, we often rent a smaller car, but lately have enjoyed using Uber/Lyft and just walking to most spots in the area. Again, our location has a high walk-able score and most things (restaurants, bars, shops, the stadiums, Subway) are all within short walking distance.
