A warm, jewel-toned apartment with lots of natural light, nestled amongst a generous outdoor living space in NE Minneapolis. Walk to local coffee shops, restaurants, a bakery for warm doughnuts, or boutique shopping. Grab your golf clubs & head to Columbia Golf Club. Local breweries, distilleries & art galleries are within biking distance. The property sits on a bus line, is centrally located to locations throughout the Twin Cities, and just minutes from Downtown, with easy freeway access. The space The Guesthouse is part of a side-by-side Duplex and was built in 1951. My work studio is located in the basement (near the laundry) of the guesthouse. It has its own separate entrance. The Lounge Comfortably furnished and with a 43" Roku TV. Board games are located in the Media Stand for you to enjoy. Semi-sheer curtains allow both privacy and light to filter in. The apartment has central heating and is cosy in Winter and cool in Summer. There is a breakfast bar with high-backed chairs that makes a comfortable workspace, with high-speed WIFI, along with a radio that is blue-tooth enabled. The Bedroom Sleep well on a Queen Sized, award-winning, Nectar Hybrid Mattress, encased in a mattress-protector pad. The linens on the bed are natural fibres of cotten, bamboo and are organic or OEKO-TEX certified. Heavy, velvet blackout curtains allow for complete darkness for a deep rest and are also OEKO-TEX certified; meaning the fabrics are non-toxic for you and the environment. The bedroom boasts a beautiful full-length carved, wooden mirror. The wardrobe is stocked with plentiful hangers, as well as basket storage, and there are luggage racks if you don't feel like unpacking. The Kitchen The kitchen offers a full-sized fridge and oven for cooking and is fully equipped for a meal in. A slow cooker, kettle, blender (individual) and popcorn maker are additional thoughtful touches. Coffee lovers will delight in the espresso machine, Keurig and French Press options, along with a thoughtfully curated coffee bar. Tea lovers, we have you covered too, with an extensive, complimentary tea selection. The pantry is stocked with the basics of oils, vinegars and a generous selection of herbs and spices. There is a small dining table in the kitchen for a cosy meal. The Bathroom A full-sized bath and shower with a window and retro-style vanity lights. Plenty of linens are provided (towels, hand towels and washcloths) along with complimentary toiletry items. The Laundry A washing machine and dryer are located in the basement. Please note, the basement is still a work in progress and is a shared space, where my Studio is located. There is a bathroom in the basement that my clients use, so you may see someone if you're using the laundry facilities. Parking There is a garage space for one vehicle available for guest use. It is part of a double garage, and we park on one side. It is a secure remote access. Guest access Guests have a dedicated, private entrance to the Guesthouse via an unique keypad code.
