Lounge at the outdoor deck during sunset or fire up the grill. Take in the ocean view while relaxing in the hot tub. The spacious deck has a 5 person hot tub, 6 person patio table with 4 chairs, 2 lounge chairs, outdoor sofa, grill, and string lights. Two large hammocks hang from the trees, where the sound of the fresh breeze flowing through the palms creates a relaxing environment. Perfect for recovering after a day of adventure or an epic surf session. Enjoy free high speed internet WiFi connectivity while basking in the sun. Sign on to your preferred Streaming service on the 50” smart TV. Master bedroom has a king sized bed and a 40" smart TV, one bedroom has a full sized bed and the other has a twin sized bunk bed. Also included are basic cable service and blu-ray / DVD player. Kitchen includes stove, microwave oven, toaster, drip coffeemaker, tea kettle, assortment of kitchen/cooking utensils and blender. Refrigerator includes icemaker for those tropical drinks! The rental is for the whole property and guests will have access to everything within it. Cottage has keyless locks so there's no need to provide keys on arrival. Owner is available over the phone. Always glad to answer questions and provide recommendations. That is, owner will interact with guest as much as the guest pleases. The house is located in the coast of Quebradillas, known to have been frequented by pirates looking to sell their loot to the locals during the 1700’s. The area’s seaside limestone cliffs (dotted with caves) are unique on the island and reminiscent of Isla de Mona; both of which are nesting grounds of the rare and beautiful white-tailed tropicbird. When you feel ready to upgrade your day dreams into lasting memories, a 10-minute hike from this property will place you in a beautiful secluded beach. The beach is rocky and not good for bathing/swimming during most of the year but has beautiful views. Great for meditative walking, yoga, relaxing and basking in the sun. There are puddles of water in the rocks in the shore that small kids enjoy. Property is close to the best beaches and surf spots the northwest has to offer. Area is dotted with restaurants / bars and it's conveniently close to shopping centers, malls, pharmacies and supermarkets. A nice coffee shop/artisanal beer place is within a 3 minute drive. There are several nice local surf spots in the area which remain less crowded than the rest of the northwest. Puerto Hermina being the most notable of these. Choose from several local seafood/Creole restaurants in the vicinity (5-10 min drive). A concrete skate park is also within a 5-minute drive. Property is within 15 minutes of Isabela, 30 minutes from Aguadilla (BQN), 50 minutes from Rincón and 1.5 hours from San Juan (SJU). In order to maximize the experience Puerto Rico has to offer, we recommend our guests rent a car. We built this house in 2006 with tropical coziness in mind.
