Private Room/Bath A/C #1 in Heart of Flores Island

Located on the north side of Isla de Flores, our home is built in original style - individual rooms surrounding a courtyard with a shared living room & kitchen. The roof has terrific views of the lake, neighboring San Miguel, sunsets, and moonrises. We can direct you to the best spots for food & entertainment (from a local's perspective). Plus, we are bilingual (Spanish/English). The space While we love the island, it can be subject to short power/water outages and odd noises (birthday firecrackers, parade bands, music). Guest access Each guest has a private bedroom with attached bathroom. The bedroom has a newly installed Air Conditioning unit - super helpful after exploring Mayan ruins in hot and humid Petén. Guests also share a full kitchen, dining area, and living room. We provide drinking water and access to our washing machine. Guests also have access to the roof for drying clothes and enjoying the panoramic view. Please stay off the second floor, however, so as not to disturb other residents. During your stay Our home has three co-hosts that all live on site (2 doctors and a web developer). That allows us to be available to assist you during check-in or for concerns that may arise. Other things to note Whenever we travel, we prefer local hangouts over tourist traps. We're happy to share our local perspective on Flores. We have established a few house rules: 1) Do not bring in outside guests. 2) Please turn off TV and AC unit when leaving room. 3) Although we encourage guests to enjoy the roof (great view), the second floor is off-limits as we have residents living there.
