The backyard is fenced. Although the fenced area is a lower level, so you need to escort pets down to the yard. Please pick up after pets, and let me know if anything is soiled or damaged so we can get it cleaned and repaired right away. 2. THE KITCHEN IS STOCKED You will find an abundance of cookware, condiments, and pantry items. You are welcome to use anything in the house. I love to cook and I work in organic agriculture, so I keep the best ingredients on-hand. 3. THERE ARE TWO GROCERY STORES Save Mart and Angel’s Food Market, both on Main St. If you want to save a trip to the store, you can use the Instacart app to have groceries delivered from Save Mart. 4. PARKING IS ON THE STREET There is no parking right in front of the house, because the street is narrow. You can stop there to unload or use the red cart next to the front steps. Park anywhere on Mark Twain Rd south of the house. There is always plenty of space. Thanks for visiting my little dream house. I purchased the property at the end of 2022 and have had a fun time thoughtfully collecting furnishings and bringing the place to life with bold colors. It is a magical house because, even though it is only 700 square feet, it goes on forever! And every seat in the house is a different experience. Furnishings are high quality, the beds are comfortable, and I think I've thought of most anything you would need. Guest access Guests have access to the entire main house, front patio, back deck, and back yard. There is a fully fenced yard, great for pets or kids. The backyard has a clawfoot tub perfect for a cool soak on a hot summer day. No access is permitted to the office cottage, workshop, basement, or garden shed. The host or caretakers may access those areas during your stay, as needed. Other things to note Regarding recent extreme heat and occasional power outages: There is a gas generator ready to use in case of a power outage, along with a portal air conditioner that can be plugged in to the generator.
