A holiday home named "Holmstugan" you will find near Rimbo in Uppland. The holiday place is located about 40 km north of Stockholm and east of Uppsala each. Your holiday home is surrounded by water and paddocks, which means naturally and beautifully located, and in a peaceful atmosphere you can really relax and simply enjoy your holidays.The lake near Rimbo is suited both as a bathing lake and to go fishing for above all pike and perch. In case you intend to plan some trips to the surrounding, we can recommend to you such destinations like the old works "Vira Bruk" or the castle of Penningby. From Grisslehamn you can make a day trip to Åland, to get to know a typical Scandinavian buffet dinner at the ship.For golfers and people, who are intersted in golfing, it should be important to know, that there are 10 golf courses within a radius of 30 km. The distance to Norrtälje, a small, charming town with good shopping facilities, is about 20 km. Good bus connections to Stockholm, which you will reach after 45 minutes, give you an understanding of all the sights of this beautiful and fantastic city. If you only think of "Gröna Lund", the Wasa Museum, Astrid Lindgrens Junibacken, Skansen or Djurgården.If you come to us, dogs and small pets are welcome, but cats are unfortunately not wanted here.Your holiday home has a living room, two bedrooms, kitchen, WC with shower and in addition a lovely glazed veranda, from where you will have a view of the lake. 2 bedrooms with double bed and 2 singel bed + babybed, living room with convertible sofa (2) Dogs are welcome, but no cats.
