Experience the essence of Alaska in this idyllic retreat. You will enjoy convenient location en route to the renowned Chena Hot Springs resort. Unwind on the deck, by the propane fire pit, while soaking in the mesmerizing Aurora views. Often my husband Tony is Flying his bush plane or Paraglider from our private air strip. This property is located on a northern aspect, Hillside ideal for viewing the aurora northern lights. There is a porch tucked away amongst the birch trees with a propane fire pit. During winter months (October -April), 4 wheel-drive or all wheel-drive vehicles are necessary. Text or call if it’s an emergency. Our cabin is located about 15 miles from the Fairbanks International Airport, or about a 20 minute drive. The cabin is located on a hill, so during the winter months (October - March), 4 Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive vehicles with all-season or winter tires are necessary. Please note this cabin does have an exterior security camera located on the other side of the driveway near outdoor Christmas lights. We only use it to help know if guests have arrived safely. Note: some amenities are seasonal and/or stored in the garage.
