PUESTO VIEJO Ranch - Villa General Belgrano
PUESTO VIEJO Ranch - Villa General Belgrano
Description
It sounds far-fetched that there is a real "ranch" just a minute away from the gastronomic and commercial center of Villa General Belgrano. But believe it or not, Estancia PUESTO VIEJO is the answer. With a total area of 300 hectares of native and implanted forests, Estancia PUESTO VIEJO produces an imperfect fusion of two seemingly irreconcilable worlds, city and forest, remoteness and bustle, frenzy and tranquility. All in one and much more. The space Estancia PUESTO VIEJO is located at the gates of one of the three entrances to Villa General Belgrano, on Provincial Route No. 5. Several families or couples of friends can stay in it without sacrificing the necessary privacy spaces. Estancia PUESTO VIEJO is built in a sort of "giant bubble" that welcomes its guests, giving them a wonderful environment wherever you look. You can walk for hours through natural and planted forests; practice various sports and activities without having to leave your property. Privacy is total. Exclusive use. Its story began with its owners of Central European ancestry, who gave its facilities that especially warm and distinctive touch. Over the years, successive improvements, renovations, and extensions were incorporated without losing that original charm that characterizes both Villa General Belgrano and La Cumbrecita. Guest access Currently, Estancia Puesto Viejo has three housing units that are rented jointly in both high and mid-season, which make it possible to accommodate a maximum of 20/22 guests: -The MANSION, Central European style, spacious and bright that has: * main dining room, *two complete living rooms with their respective modern wood-burning homes (Bosca) and air conditioning equipment, * courtesy bathroom (full); * a large master bedroom with en-suite bathroom; another style room with two beds and bathroom for exclusive use; * modern fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, freezer, microwave, etc.) * large play room on the mezzanine enabled as a place to rest (children over 6 years old and teenagers). * spectacular covered gallery with magnificent views of the large mountains and the interior forest, with a table for 20 diners and a place to stay. * Very close to this gallery is the new "Creole space", which honors our purest traditions. It has a barbecue with a 1.70-meter grill and a steel plate for double fire or cooking pizzas, steaks, vegetables, * a clay oven; * enclosed fire pits, a barbecue bar, and several tables. - In turn, the CASA DEL VALLE is a warm construction - separated from the Casona (15 meters )-, which faces the Valley and the Sierras Grandes. It has a large covered gallery, two large bedrooms with their own bathrooms for exclusive use, a kitchenette and a garage area. -Finally, the "FOREST SUITE" is a recently remodeled unit, which has an entrance hall, a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom; a second large bedroom with its own bathroom for exclusive use and a small courtesy space (electric kettle, cups, minibar). The PUESTO VIEJO ranch has areas specially prepared for sports, such as a tennis court and soccer goals, a children's play area; solarium, large swimming pool with infinity edge to the large mountains and spectacular view of Cerro ChampaquĆ. It also has another Creole grill with a clay oven in the area near the pool/solarium, with large countertops and areas covered by the sun. There you can make roasts with leather using a special large grill. When touring Estancia PUESTO VIEJO you will be able to recognize old buildings, old warehouses and small old stalls. Livestock farming is carried out in its upper part, so once you start the ascent to the watershed or summit of the small mountain ranges by one of the existing trails, you can see the corrals, watering holes, calves with their mothers, breeding horses as well as countless birds and other native animals. All this under the aroma of our mountain herbs and the multiplicity of colors provided by the nourished wild flowers. Some of our visitors have been fortunate to see hawks, condors, and deer. Yes, deer that have escaped from captivity in a nearby reserve affected by fires. Several guests have made it to the "summit" and have left us testimonial photos of their journeys and adventures. The view from the top is an unparalleled, simply unforgettable reward; but the trails through which it is accessed, with their rest stops and intermediate views, are no less so. In short, they retain all the charm and magic of our mountain ranges, nature in its purest state. Other things to note Villa General Belgrano is a tourist town par excellence; prepared with meticulous detail and dedication for such a destination. Each season offers visitors unique experiences. As they say, VGB lives its 365 days of "season". But three festivities are held annually that give it its current imprint: -In April, the National Feast of the Viennese Mass. -In October, the National Beer Festival, Oktoberfest, in which the "Villa" receives thousands of tourists for eleven consecutive days. Its people, dressed in their typical costumes, manage to recreate and stage the most endearing traditions of the various immigrant communities (Germans, Swiss, Austrians, Italians). Multiple shows, Central European music orchestras, parades, and typical dances bring the most cherished cantonal traditions to life. Beer, in its different craft or industrial versions, takes center stage; it is paraded through its streets, venues, squares, hotels, cabins, in all its varieties, colors, flavors, brands and sizes. But it doesn't end there, the Villa displays its gastronomic show, with renewed proposals and offers of traditional Central European pastries to delight all lovers of good food and good living. -Finally in the month of July, during our winter holidays, the Villa is enveloped by the particular aroma of hot chocolate, giving way to the renowned Alpine Chocolate Festival. Recreating those European traditions, the stages host multiple shows and dances of international folklore and Central European music. It's a special and unforgettable party for the whole family.
