Get that hometown feeling in our newly remodeled 1st Floor Suite with a large front porch for relaxing within walking distance of Historic Main Street Galax Virginia. A Short walk to everything such as Restaurants, Entertainment, Antique Shops, Coffee Shops, New River Trail, Historic Rex Theater, and one mile from Felts Park, Home of the World’s Largest Old Time Fiddlers Convention. 2 Complimentary bikes for our guests, also bicycle storage in basement is provided with power for EV Bikes. The space Newly remodeled Mountain & Bicycle themed suite with accents of pine board throughout the area. Main bedroom provides a cozy private relaxing area with a comfy Queen Bed, USB ports on each side of the bed, sitting chair, extra comfy blankets and a 42" smart tv. Spacious relaxing living room with a Queen bed pull out in couch , USB Charging ports in lamps and a 55" smart TV for catching up on your favorite shows at the end of an adventurous day. Fully stocked kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, stove, keurig, air fryer, and blender to accommodate for those days you just want to stay around the Suite. Bathroom has a full sized tub and shower, complimentary soap, shampoo and plenty fresh towels. Entry has a closet with extra linens, blankets, pillows and mattress topper for the pull out couch. There is also room to hang coats and clothes. Guest access **If the dates you are looking for are not available for the downstairs Suite, please check the Fiddlers Roost which is the upstairs Loft for availability or check the Blue Ridge Haven which is adjacent unit to the New River Hideaway on the main level.** Each have a private entrance and each have their own outdoor sitting areas. There are no shared living areas. Common area would include the yard around the house and the little garden area out back. Other things to note We can provide 2 complimentary bikes for your enjoyment upon request for the New River Trail or just riding around town, so no need to pay extra rental fees and hassle with renting. We have added gel seats for extra comfort and one bike has an air pump. We also have bicycle storage for your personal bikes in the basement with security lock, security code will be provided upon request. We also provide electricity for the EV Bikes in the storage area. We proudly clean the Suite ourselves and do not sub out our cleaning to anyone else to ensure you get freshly cleaned sheets, blankets and a clean space for your stay. Bed linens and blankets are washed after each guest. Self-Check in with keypad on door. Street lighting over the parking area and solar lights around sitting area on deck. Air purifier in the living room to provide an allergy free environment. Take advantage of the many adventures around the area such as: Blue Ridge Parkway, Fishing, Tubing or Canoeing the New River, Fishing Crooked Creek, Hiking or Biking the New River Trail, Music Festivals, Virginia Creeper Trail, Appalachian Trail, The Rex Theater, Wayne C Henderson Festival on Grayson Highlands State Park, Pilot Mtn, Mayberry (Mt Airy, NC) and lots of antique shopping.
