Original 1912 cabin nestled in laurel canyon amidst dreamy hillside views, oaks trees and wildlife. A magical peaceful retreat perfect for artists or musicians, or simply for anyone wanting to visit LA and stay in the hills away from the bustle of town yet just five minutes by car to the sunset strip. The cabin has three outdoor areas, a working fireplace and is walking distance to the local store and cafe (the laurel canyon country store). Cabin recently has had some updates! The space The cabin is a two bedroom, multi story home — quintessentially laurel canyon with a brick fireplace, and treetop views from every window. It is one of the few original cabins left in the area, and was home to Marlon Brando for a period in 1954. There are multiple outdoor decks and areas. Bedroom is a large double, adjacent to bathroom and with mountain views. Living area has a TV, fireplace, shag pile rug and record player for cozy nights. There is an outdoor dining area hidden in the trees and overlooking the valley below. The property is equipped with central heat and AC, laundry, full bathtub and working fireplace. It is fully stocked with amenities, including coffee grinder, blender and juicer in the kitchen. Not many homes like this left in the area - one of the last original cabins! The house sits perched on a hill 10 min on foot to the country store at the base of laurel canyon. Complimentary books, records and Netflix during your stay.
