A 5 minute drive will bring you to the small market town of Colyton which has shops, inns and the picturesque River Coly. The coastal town of Lyme Regis with its famous Cobb of the ‘French Lieutenant’s Women’ fame, interesting individual specialist shops and cinema is only a 15 minute drive over the Devon border into Dorset. The small thriving market town of Axminster, famous for the Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall ‘River Cottage Canteen’, shops and weekly street market is just a 10 minute drive away.
