This agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between JustGo Travel Properties ("Host") and the guest ("Guest") for the rental of the property the guest has reserved("Property"). 1. Booking Validation 1.1. The Guest agrees to complete any necessary booking validation process as required by the Host prior to the commencement of the Booking. 2. Guest Obligations and Acknowledgements 2.1. The Guest acknowledges and agrees to be liable for any Property Damage caused by their actions or inactions during the Booking period. 2.2. The Guest is responsible for the full reservation amount owed to the Host, subject to the Host's cancellation terms. 2.3. The Guest agrees not to initiate a Chargeback against the Host. 3. Property Use and Care 3.1. The Guest agrees to the following conditions: Use the Property only as permitted by the Host and in a reasonable and responsible manner. Operate any appliances, fixtures, and fittings according to provided instructions. Take responsibility for the conduct of any persons or pets they permit to enter the Property. Ensure the Property is adequately secured and comply with house rules as listed in property description. Prevent damage to drains or sanitary appliances. Maintain proper ventilation to prevent dampness, odors, or smoke buildup. Parking for vehicles on the property must be done per host instructions as these are set to follow town and neighborhood regulations. Violating parking instructions will incur monetary penalties at host’s discretion. At no point should vehicles be parked on grass or anywhere other than designated spaces described in instructions. Only the number of guests and pets reserved are permitted to stay at the property. If unapproved guests stay at the property, the booking guest will be charged $25 per person per night plus the 2% per person per night for each guest over 10 guests. If more than the maximum amount of guests listed for the property stay at the property, a penalty of $100 per person per night will be charged for breaking house rules and town regulations. House Rules: • No pets or shoes on furniture or bedding • Pets and children must be attended to at all times • Pets must be confined to crate if left unattended at the property • No glass in or around hot tub • Please leave plugs in outlets as set and use other free outlets for your personal use so lights, smart plugs, and switches are kept functional. Fees will be assessed for breaking of these house rules even if no damage occurs. Payment for extra time spent by host, owners, cleaners, or maintenance crew will be charged to guest in accordance with this agreement. 3.2. The Guest acknowledges that these obligations extend to any associated buildings, access areas, or parking facilities. 4. Property Damage 4.1. The Guest agrees to document the Property's condition at the start and end of the Booking, whenever possible. Failure to do so may impact the Guest's ability to dispute Property Damage claims. 4.2. In the event of Property Damage, the Guest must promptly notify the Host and take reasonable steps to minimize further damage or inconvenience to neighboring premises. 4.3. The Guest is liable for all Property Damage caused during the Booking period, including compensation for any associated fees or charges. 4.4. Unreported Property Damage will be assumed to be the responsibility of the Guest. 4.5. The Guest acknowledges that the assessment of Property Damage costs is at the sole discretion of the Host. 5. Guest's Items Left Behind 5.1. Retrieval & Storage Found items will be held for 14 days. After this period, unclaimed items may be donated or discarded. Perishable or hazardous items (such as food, toiletries, or personal hygiene products) will be disposed of immediately. 5.2. Shipping Lost Items Guests must cover all shipping costs, including packaging and postage. Items will be shipped via a carrier of our choice (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx), and we will provide a tracking number upon request. A handling fee of $25 to $50 will be applied depending on the time and effort required to retrieve and ship the item. 5.3. High-Value or Sensitive Items High-value or sensitive items (e.g., passports, electronics, or sentimental items) will only be shipped using priority shipping with insurance and a signature required upon receipt. Guests are responsible for the full cost of shipping and insurance. An additional handling fee will apply due to the extra care and time involved: $50 for small high-value items (e.g., passports, small electronics). $75 to $100 for larger, fragile, or legally complex items (e.g., expensive electronics, sentimental items, or documents requiring special handling). 5.4. Liability Host is not responsible for lost or forgotten items, delays in shipping, or items lost in transit. 6. Agreement 6.1. By entering into this Agreement, the Guest agrees to be bound by its terms and conditions. 6.2. If this Agreement is signed by an Agent or representative of the Guest, it binds the Guest and confirms their acceptance of its terms. 6.3. The Guest consents to the sharing of relevant information with the Host in connection with the Booking. 7. General 7.1. Notices under this Agreement will be in writing and delivered by email. 7.2. The invalidity of any clause in this Agreement does not affect the validity of other clauses. 7.3. This Agreement is governed by the laws of New York State and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New York State.
