OCEANFRONT BUNGALOW: Playa Grande FRONT & CENTER

Enjoy our private beachfront bungalow on the Las Tortugas Hotel grounds. The golden sands and main surf break of central Playa Grande are literally seconds walk from your front door. You also have access to all hotel amenities, including custom turtle-shaped swimming pool, hot Jacuzzi, toddler pool, hammock palapa, reading/conference deck, guarded parking, yoga center, and famous restaurant & bar! The space Las Tortugas Bungalow has its own covered porch/dining area and open patio with hammock, surrounded by tropical gardens. It has a full kitchen and 3 beds: the master bedroom has a king size bed with mirrored walls, and in the common area, there is a custom “Hawaiian” style large double and a custom small double bed. With air conditioning, hot shower, full kitchen and cable TV, it is the perfect place to rest and relax after a day at the beach and our hotel grounds. Lounge outside on the porch or patio on a sun chair or in a hammock, watching the monkeys, iguanas, tropical birds and other wildlife that visit the hotel grounds! Playa Grande is a light-sensitive environment. For the conservation of the turtles and other wildlife, we keep all outdoor lighting to a minimum. The moon and stars help a lot when they are out, but we suggest bringing a flashlight (or use the flashlight app built into most cellphones) for walking outside at night. The washer and dryer are located in the rancho next door, but you must bring your clothes to the front desk to get laundry service. Cost is about USD$0.20 (twenty cents) per garment. Please review the numerous online travel guides concerning Playa Grande; the area is somewhat rural and undeveloped, yet close (by car) to more tourist-oriented areas like Tamarindo. Our accommodations are best suited for guests who plan primarily to enjoy our hotel amenities and the natural surroundings of the pristine beach of Playa Grande.
