The space The studio has a King bed, a pull-out Queen sofa bed, a full bathroom, a small balcony, and in its kitchenette is a microwave, coffee maker, kitchen sink, utensils, and a small refrigerator. I can submit a preference for your preferred building and choice of room on 1st, 2nd or 3rd floor. I can also ask for a Handicap Accessible Unit. There is no place better for a fun family holiday celebration in March!!! The challenging public golf course is on property and tennis courts are available by reservation from the front desk, as are bicycles and a sports court with basketball and a small putting area. In our Villages area, there are three swimming pools (one has a waterslide with a 48” height requirement), multiple hot tubs, a kids’ splash pool, and a kids' activity center. The lovely fitness center is at the main building with all the traditional equipment. You can also access the Enclaves pool area which has lots of features for small children and is on the property but further away from the units in the Villages, but easily accessible via the resort shuttle. The Grille, an on-property restaurant, has been closed since Spring 2020. Marriott is negotiating to have a third party come in to run it, but it is unlikely that it will be open this March. The pool snack bar is good for lunch and drinks, and there is a small Market near the front desk. Guest access After confirming your reservation, I submit the name, address, and email of the primary guest who will check in and must show ID, so I ask you for this information to finalize the reservation in your name. I will then send you the confirmation # for this shared reservation (it is shared because the reservation stays in my name as the owner, but it is confirmed for your stay and you can call Marriott Shadow Ridge with the confirmation # if you have any questions). While units are assigned upon arrival, I can submit building and floor preferences if you like, and provide advice. Upon arrival, go to the front desk in the main building to register; a valid photo ID and credit card of the listed primary guest are required, and your credit card will be authorized for a refundable security deposit, typically $50 per night. Parking is free throughout the property, but you get a parking permit for your car dashboard. A full villa can have two cars; no RVs or oversized vehicles are allowed. Standard check-in is 4pm, but early arrivals can use the facilities and check their luggage as needed. Other things to note There is a $75 cleaning fee for any reservations under 5 days. Minimum booking is 4 nights, and must include the first or last night
