wonderful house in serenity with dogs welcome

Family HOME available for vacations for the summer of 2023, 1800 sq ft 3 BR home with loft and 2.5 Bathrooms. An acre with a large fire pit, two porches and two kayaks for your use, all within Riverbend gated community. If your family includes well behaved dogs they are welcome, but not allowed in the bedrooms. We provide two flat "lake" kayaks that you can take to the lake and back for your enjoyment. The house is not child proof, and has antiques, but there are children activities for rainy days such as board games, and puzzles. One of the few homes with internet and wifi available in the community and three smart TVs located in Livingroom, Master and Loft (that could move to either upstairs bedroom). DVD, VHS and gaming available. Riverbend offers a beach, two lakes, river, riverwalk with waterfalls, fishing at the lake or river, 30 miles of dirt roads for biking or walking and a pavilion for lake view BBQ and picnics. Asheville is 40 minutes away and has many fine dining, shops or Biltmore Estate to visit. We are 15 minutes to Tryon Equestrian Center for more dining options and home to this years FEI World Equestrian Games. The area has the highest peak in NC, Mount Mitchell, Chimney Rock State Park or Grandfather Mountain (plus many more) to visit. There are caves in the area and local events in Rutherfordton and Lake Lure. Each August there is a Dirty Dancing Festival to celebrate the filming of the movie at Lake Lure.
