El Cerrito is a quiet town about 14 miles away from San Francisco. This peaceful studio; it's your private getaway with independent entry, a queen bed, and a nice size TV. The living area has a table for two and a heater to keep you warm. The kitchen offers a microwave, a fridge, a coffee maker, a stove, a teapot, an oven, a blender, a toaster, and utensils. A nice size bathroom that has just been remodeled. Guests can park on the street without any concern for parking restrictions. Our charming studio has a queen bed, a table for two, a small but completely equipped kitchen, and a private bath. Both the kitchen and the bath are small so please keep that in mind before renting. We also offer a nice patio with outdoor seating. Guests have access to WIFI. Guests have Sling and HBO Max available Guest are invited to relax in the back yard. While we can be very friendly we will not impose ourselves on your privacy. It is a safe, quiet, family-oriented neighborhood. It is located one block from the convenience store and 4 blocks to the shopping plaza and El Cerrito Plaza BART station. 15 - 20-minute walk to BART, 35 - 45 minutes ride to San Francisco, 10 minutes Bart ride to Berkeley 20 minutes to Oakland. 1-hour drive to San Francisco 25-30 minutes drive to Marin. The El Cerrito neighborhood is a very calm place. There are a few restaurants close by like Panda Express, Romano's Macaroni Grill, Rubio's, Nations, Sushi Sho, Pizza Romana, etc. If you go into Albany there is more variety in restaurants. If you are looking for convenience stores there is a CVS one block away and there is a Starbucks, Lucky supermarket, and liquor store all in close range. If you are walking around the neighborhood at night I would advise walking along the main street San Pablo because it is more illuminated. We do not have a washer and dryer at the studio but there is a laundromat just one block away. The El Cerrito BART station is 4 to 5 blocks away from the studio. From the El Cerrito BART station to the Embarcadero BART station is about 30-35 mins. Now if you are driving to San Francisco it all depends on the time, it ranges between 25 mins to 1 hour or more. There is plenty of parking on the street with no daily restrictions. If you are looking for a place to have breakfast here are the ones in close proximity to the studio.
