This totally renovated cabin sits by the banks of beautiful Craig Creek. The Hideaway backs up to the 4,600+ acre Grace Furnace tract of National Forest. There are no neighbors in sight and the traffic is sparse.Sit on the screened porch or relax by the water's edge with the fire pit. The water is usually deep enough to swim in front of the house, and you can float for miles! You can fish right from the yard and catch trout, small-mouth bass, rock bass, and lots more! The space There is 1 bedroom upstairs and a loft, each with one king-sized bed. Each bed has 2 well-stuffed memory foam pillows and 2 softer pillows. If you need more, just ask! Windows from the bedrooms look out onto the creek and you can hear the relaxing sound of the water from inside. Each room has its own split-unit AC so each guest can control their sleeping temperature. We have a full kitchen (full-size fridge, stove, dishwasher, quality cookware, and utensils) and offer basic staples like oil, spices, etc. There is a blender, toaster, baking sheets, muffin pans, casserole pan, drink pitcher, colander, and mixing bowls as well. We also have a propane grill and grilling utensils available. The house was an old hunt camp that had fallen into disrepair. One of our favorite aspects of it was the floor- wide-plank heart pine. It isn't in the best condition, but we restored it as best we could. For this reason, we don't recommend any child of crawling age that could hurt themselves on the flooring. There are steps to get to the bedrooms, and the ceilings in the loft are fairly low (6'2" at the highest point). Remember to watch your head upstairs! The fireplace inside the cabin is not available for use. Other things to note We love dogs and gladly welcome them to stay with you ( limit 2 please) also, ensure your dog is on flea- preventative and vaccinated to protect them as well as future guests' furry friends! You will need to bring their own bed, or we offer soft blankets. Please keep pets off the furniture and beds. There is a $ 75 dollar pet fee.
