Masks are required at this time. Our home has 3 bedrooms on two floors plus a sleeping loft (3 queen-size and 3 twin-size beds), and two bathrooms.. ONLY 2.5 hours from Boston and 4 hours from NYC. 15 minutes to Mount Snow or 45 minutes to Stratton for skiing and snowboarding;15 minutes to Lake Whitingham, Lake Raponda, Somerset Reservoir, or Deerfield River for swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking; 20 minutes to Marlboro College (Music Festival). 30 minutes to Bennington and Brattleboro. Dining and shopping nearby in Wilmington and West Dover. Our home has electric/propane heat, and a wood burning stove in the living room can make it very toasty and add energy efficiency (firewood included). Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, toaster, coffee and espresso machines, pizza stone and peel, ice cream maker and dishwasher. Wifi, flat screen TV with HDMI cable for laptop connection, DVD/VCR player, large collection of DVDs and VCR movies, board games, books and audiobooks. Snowshoes and sleds. Washer and dryer. Our home is located in Chimney Hill, a unique community of private homes surrounded by a four season recreational area. The Clubhouse, located ½ mile from our home, includes: hot tub, heated indoor and outdoor pools, fitness room, barbecue facilities, playground, a game room (with pool table), movie room with a projection TV and surround sound, lighted tennis and basketball courts. There is an ice skating area with lights and a warming hut, hiking, cross-country skiing and snowmobile trails (access to VAST system), and stocked fishing pond. Other activities include golf and tennis tournaments, barbecues, wine tastings, ski racing, and other activities throughout the year, organized by Chimney Hill staff.
