This sweet German home is located on a bustling thorough fair to main street Fredericksburg. It is quaint and cozy. It makes one feel that they have stepped back in time to the simple life. It is hard to believe that Rita raised her 5 children here in this small 900 square foot home! The space This cozy and comfortable small cottage gives one the feel of visiting a farm home. It is located in walking distance to downtown Fredericksburg. A quaint walking bridge even makes it closer. It is a simple home with original hardwood floors, two large sized bedrooms and a functional bathroom in the middle. The kitchen is basic with an electric stove, refrigerator, and microwave. Each room whether it is the living room, bedrooms, or kitchen has large old windows that lets in the natural light. The floors are dressed with beautiful wool woven rugs. There is off street parking underneath a covered carport. Central air and heat along with ceiling fans keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The backyard has a lighted patio and a small barbecue grill. Rita's keeps with the theme of simplicity. We do not support single use products such as plastic water bottles. ( instead we supply a Brita water purifier ) Guest access Guests will enjoy the entire house, use the driveway and carport along with the patio in the back. There is also a washer and dryer centrally located on the airy breezeway. The patio is shared with guests from the cabin. The washer/dryer is also accessed by housekeeping. Wireless internet and smart television in the living living room is provided. We provide coffee and tea. Check in at 3:00 Check out at 11:00 Other things to note At the back of the property there is a Cabin. Olive Oil the airstream trailer is at the very rear of the property. There are no pets on the property. This is a 31 day or longer rental. UTILITY BILLS- tenant will be responsible for utility bills if they exceed the budgeted amount of 200.00. TRASH REMOVAL- 25.00 charge for leaving trash bins full for failure to take trash to the street for Friday trash removal pickup.
