This unit was used a Airbnb from 2016 - 2019 and then as a secondary residence for one of our kids who just graduated from The University of Texas This place is perfect for visiting academia, parents visiting students, prospective students wanting to check out UT - Walking distance to campus, just minutes to downtown - a great spot to be just close enough to all the great Austin events -SXSW, ACL, Formula 1, concerts, and much more The space The outside doesn't do it justice. Laminate hardwood, freshly painted, furnished, well-maintained. Perfect for academia, couples and families visiting kids , and yet have their own privacy! Great for groups (up to 4) who can have the whole place to themselves! Each room has their own private bath and restroom so that's a big thumbs up! You can call and dial in groceries or Uber-Dine In without leaving the comfort of the apartment, after long tiring days of live music and getting your fill of Austin! You are no more than a 10-minute Uber/Lyft ride from all the nightlife - 6th Street, Rainey, and everything in between! Disclaimer : This unit is in the heart of West Campus and is an older building. If you are looking for a 5 star exterior appearance this unit is not for you. This unit is also in the heart of West Campus so it's lively and buzzing . Parking is NOT available. Towing is strictly enforced this will be your liability Guest access Key access with lockbox. Keypad available as backup. There will be a fee if key is lost and has to be replaced. If you are renting a car or driving your own please read instructions in house manual for further directions NOTE : F2 is the designated spot but there are always encroachers - so if F2 is blocked by another car, please park in any back spot (make sure that the front spot is empty) and please contact me via sms. Other things to note In the heart of fraternity & student housing so noise factor may not be suitable to all. PARKING is no longer available, and Towing is STRICTLY enforced. Access to the unit is via a flight of stairs - no elevator available. This is also an older Spanish type apartment complex. If you are looking for a swanky exterior, this unit is not for you :)
