Just 20 minutes away from the famous Mcleod Ganj lies a lesser-known place called Naddi. Naddi is famous for its sunset and trek points. This hidden gem of a property also doubles as a viewpoint. Here, you get modern interiors with the most gorgeous view from your window, balcony, and terrace. This is perfect for hosting families and small groups (less than 10 people). It’s stashed away from the commercialized crowded areas but still has proper connectivity to all essential places. The space A short 75-stair hike from the entrance will bring you to our hilltop property. We'll be more than happy to help you with your luggage while you head to your room. Upon entering, you’ll be welcomed with a complimentary tea or coffee in your own house’s kitchen. From there, you can access three indoor spaces after deciding who loves which room the most. Here’s a walkthrough of the rooms: The Great Escape Room This room is on the first floor, right above the floor where hosts live. While we’re calling it a ‘room’, you have essentially had the entire floor excluding the home kitchen. Here’s what you’ll find in this area of your Airbnb: - A small kitchenette for quick fixes for your meal - Surrounding balcony with mountain view on one side and city view on the other. We’ve created a seating space here and recommend you enjoy your meals at this spot (it’s a guest favorite) - Desk and chairs for all your workation needs - Outdoor seating area. - Fast WiFi connectivity - A double bed - Bathroom with geyser - The bathroom will have soap, towels, and tissues. Cleaning kits can be arranged on request - Lots of flora and fauna. You can pluck rhododendron flowers from our open garden spaces (when they're in season) to make medicinal teas - Casual visits by the friendly mountain dogs This room is easily comfortable for two people. Dhauladhar Portal Room We’ll get to why we’ve named this room as such. But, for clarity, this room is above the Great Escape Room. It’s on the second or the topmost floor of the property. You’ll find all the amenities of the first room and then some more. This room even has access to the shared terrace and balcony. We’ve named the room because of its one-of-a-kind window which leads to a small private balcony. This balcony is a popular guest favorite and makes for a wonderful sightseeing and bird-watching spot. We recommend this room for pairs and couples. Dhauladhar Duplex This room along with the spacious attic above is the best family room on the property. This area too has all the amenities like the double bed and attached washroom as the last two rooms. We’ve also added a few more features like big mirrors, a dining table, a sofa, and a clothing rack to make your group comfortable. The best feature is of this room's amazing attic space that it’s perfect for get-togethers with your entire group. Stairs next to your kitchenette lead to this attic which feels unreal at first. With windows replacing most of the walls, you have sunshine pouring into the room as soon as you enter. This quaint space is perfect for you to enjoy board games together. We’ve also been told it’s a great indoor space for meditation. We have two single beds here along with ample seating space surrounding the attic boundaries. If you end up booking this room in Naddi Castle, we’re sure this will be your favorite part of the entire property. All rooms and areas have an attached bathroom with a geyser and basic toiletries. Guest access We have open-street parking spaces available right outside the property entrance. We can easily save parking spots for 3-4 cars outside at a time. When you rent the whole property, you get unrestricted access to the terrace, all balconies, and trails nearby. The property isn’t a standalone house but is surrounded by lots of fields and trees. On a typical day, you’ll see many barley and mustard crops. There's also a convenience and medical store that's only a 5-minute walk from the property. Don’t expect many fancy restaurants or cafes nearby. Our property is incredibly quiet and peaceful both inside and outside. You can carry your induction and groceries, or request simple meals from the host.
