Perfect for small nuclear families or groups of friends, this exclusive retreat offers a completely private farm stay experience, where nature’s tranquillity meets modern comfort. The onsite caretakers, staying at the gatehouse, are always available to assist, ensuring a seamless and comfortable stay. The Space: BEDROOMS: The main bedroom suite features a king-size bed, ample closet space, and an attached bathroom. It also includes a large study with French windows that overlook the front garden and the forest. This bedroom also comes with an attached meditation room. The second bedroom, located on the first floor through a wooden staircase, overlooks the entire house like a tranquil sanctuary. It is equipped with a king-size bed, a sitting area, and a yoga space. BATHROOMS: There are three bathrooms in total. One is attached to the main bedroom suite, another is in the living room, and the third is located outside next to the BBQ area. All bathrooms have geysers for hot water, plush towels and basic toiletries. LIVING ROOM: With a cosy blend of bricked walls and colonial era charm, this living room is decorated with plush carpets and comes with a fireplace. The living room has a sofa set that can accommodate 4-6 people. DINING AREA: There is a dining area that is part of the living room and can seat up to 6 people comfortably. KITCHEN: Guests may use the kitchen to make tea, coffee, instant noodles and simple food for infants, but not for elaborate cooking. Crockery and cutlery are available. MIND CAVE: Attached to the main bedroom suite is the "Mind Cave"—a cozy loft ideal for those looking to disconnect and spend some time meditating, reading, or practicing mindfulness. GARDEN: Creating a serene haven to showcase nature’s beauty, the garden features a koi fish pond, ample seating space, a cozy bonfire and BBQ area, and a relaxing hammock—perfect for unwinding and entertaining. ADD-ON SERVICES: - A bonfire and BBQ can be set up with prior notice at an additional cost. - The property is equipped with high-speed broadband Wi-fi, which covers the entire cottage and most of the garden area. Guest access The guests have access to the entire property except the caretakers room and the main kitchen. Other things to note CLEANING AND LINEN: - Fresh linen is provided at the time of check-in and then changed after every 3 days for long-stay guests. - The cottage is cleaned and serviced once every morning after breakfast, by the farm staff who stay at the outhouse cottage on the property. - Since this is primarily a self catering farm stay, if guests are cooking or using the kitchen, they're expected to clean the same after themselves. FOOD OPTIONS AT THE THE OWLS NEST FARM: - The kitchen is fully equipped so guests can cook for themselves. The care takers will help get ingredients. Just provide them with a list of things you need and cash. The caretakers will clean the kitchen once every morning. - Guests can ask staff to serve complimentary breakfast. They prepare simple homemade Indian vegetarian food at the farm kitchen and bring it to the cottage. You can order food on nominal charges, or you can provide ingredients to the caretaker, he will cook for you for Rs 700 per meal. - Note: We don't serve lunch, snacks, tea or coffee etc. during the day. It is a fully functional farm and the caretakers are busy working with plants during the day. We request guests to help themselves in the cottage kitchen for such things. - Guests can order via Zomato, Swiggy or through local eateries that deliver to the farm. OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES: - There is a simple sleeping arrangement for a driver if required. Kindly let us know in advance if it would be required. - Outsiders and visitors are strictly not allowed. Only guests booked with us have access to the farm and the cottage. - This is a cottage on a farm surrounded by a forest, in a village setting. We do not permit loud music or loud noises, especially after sunset. We have village neighbours and we request our guests to maintain the peace and serenity of the farm and its surroundings. - The caretakers do a market errand run once a day. Guests can request them to get any supplies they need in advance. - We have 100MBPS wi-fi connection at the cottage.
